Is this a W-2 remote job?
No. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not employment with Valued Merchant Services. There is no guaranteed salary, hourly wage, employee benefits package, or guaranteed income.
Do I have to sell credit card processing?
Your main responsibility is to make professional outbound calls, qualify interested business owners, and arrange appointments. Experienced sales agents handle the detailed comparison, demonstrations, presentation, closing, and merchant account management.
Does VMS provide business leads and call lists?
VMS provides access to available prospecting resources, including business call lists, training, scripts, and CRM tools for the lead generation program. Lists do not guarantee interested prospects or commissionable appointments.
Do I have to work full-time or meet a quota?
No. You may participate full-time or part-time and organize your own schedule. There is no general minimum-hours or sales-production quota simply to remain a VMS independent contractor. Specific compensation tiers, incentives, and bonuses can have qualification thresholds.
What makes an appointment eligible for commission?
The prospect and appointment must satisfy the qualification criteria in the applicable compensation schedule, including the agreed comparison and demonstration opportunity and any required documentation. Merely collecting names, making calls, or arranging unqualified conversations does not automatically generate commission.
How much can I earn for a qualified appointment?
The current lead generation compensation description lists $25 per eligible appointment at the 1–5 monthly qualified appointment level, or $50 each at the 6-or-more level. The current agreement determines how levels are calculated, qualified, and paid.
Do I earn anything if my appointment becomes a customer?
Yes, an additional one-time merchant activation commission may be earned when an eligible merchant account originating from your qualified opportunity is approved and activated. The current description lists a $50–$350 range, subject to the applicable compensation schedule and qualifying conditions.
How does the 10% monthly residual income work?

Residual amounts depend on merchant processing activity, actual profitability, retention, and your contractual rights. Amounts can fluctuate or stop when qualifying conditions end.
Do I need to keep producing new leads to receive existing residuals?
There is no general ongoing new-production quota simply to continue receiving eligible residuals associated with qualifying active merchant relationships. Applicable rights, continuing qualifications, and termination provisions are governed by the agreement and compensation schedule.
When are commissions and residual income paid?
The standard weekly commission activity period begins Thursday at 12:01 PM Pacific and closes the following Thursday at noon Pacific. Eligible weekly commissions are generally paid Friday. Eligible accrued monthly residuals and qualifying monthly bonuses are generally paid on or about the 28th, subject to applicable program rules.
Does it cost anything to join or train?
VMS does not charge a fee to apply, join, complete company training, access the provided CRM, or remain active. You use your own phone, computer, internet connection, and any necessary ordinary personal operating equipment. There is no required paid starter package or inventory.
Is this an MLM or network marketing program?
No. VMS is a business-services organization with real merchant products and services. Lead generator compensation is based on qualifying merchant opportunities, account activations, applicable merchant profits, and other defined production milestones. No product purchase, inventory, or paid membership is required.
Do I need previous lead generation or merchant services experience?
Previous phone sales, appointment setting, or merchant-services experience can help, but the program includes role-specific training, recorded call examples, tools, CRM resources, and continuing support. Clear communication, willingness to learn, organization, and consistent follow-through are important.
What happens after I finish the required training?
If the opportunity fits, review and submit the independent contractor Lead Generator Agreement. The onboarding team then coordinates the applicable setup, resources, and first assignment. The existing instructions anticipate approximately 2–3 business days after required steps are completed, although timing can vary.
